Story of the Spike

When I first started creating jewelry in 2009, I used to walk through the LA Fashion district downtown and hunt through all the bead and trim shops always on the look out for something new. One day, as I was rummaging through some beads and trinkets in one of my favorite bead shops, something caught my eye – a shiny metal spike. There was something about it that was a little dangerous, and I imagined the girl who wore it would also be a no-nonsense, confident girl, and maybe a little femme fatale…..

So I added the spike to a few of my pieces and it was a big hit! Stores, customers and fans all loved it.  I recast it into different metals, and that’s how the ”Spike” became part of my signature look!
